Remember that the journey of each drop from the source to your tap is long, tiring and very expensive
Useful tips for using water in the household
Citizens who have cottages or houses in which they do not stay during the winter months should empty their water installations and thus protect themselves from possible damage. Several days of low temperatures can cause damage in the bathroom or kitchen by freezing the water in the installations.
In order to preserve water meters during the winter period and to measure water consumption without interruption, they need to be adequately protected. Water meter shelters should be provided with a suitable cover and completely drained, in case water has collected in them. The maintenance of the manholes in which the water meters are located is the responsibility of the consumer.
Yard water installations that lead to fountains, garages, sheds and detached buildings, which are not heated, should be provided in a timely manner, in such a way that you close the valve intended for this part of the network within the home installations.
The water from the water pipes is discharged at the discharge tap, which is located at the lowest part of the system and is most often located in the basement rooms. If the consumer “preserves” the taps in time, i.e. drains the network, he will not have problems with broken installations. In the spring, by opening the valves, the installations are filled with water, and the taps are automatically ready for use.
